Uptonica vs GoHighLevel

GoHighLevel builds you a shop inside it. Uptonica works inside the shop you already have. They build you a store. We run the Shopify catalog you have been selling from for years.

Uptonica GoHighLevel

Who does the catalog work The same AI that answers writes the sheets and sets the prices They ship Content AI, and their sync brings products in. What does not happen is a rewritten sheet going back out into your store

Read on gohighlevel.com/pricing, gohighlevel.com/ecommerce, their help centre article on migrating from Shopify, and uptonica.com/pricing and uptonica.com/onboarding, all on 5 August 2026. Their prices are in dollars and monthly, as they publish them, and an Enterprise tier sits above the three. Ours are ex VAT. Both change, so check both before you decide.

Two ways to end up with one platform

Their answer is to bring the shop to the platform: build the store in their builder, import the products, and their own guide walks you through switching Shopify off afterwards. It is a real answer, and for someone starting from nothing it is a decent one.

Ours is the opposite direction. The shop stays where it is, with its theme, its apps and its history, and the work happens inside it: the sheets get written, the prices move, the answers come out of the catalog that is already selling.

Where the difference actually is

01

Nothing to migrate

Your Shopify keeps running exactly as it is. There is no cutover weekend, no rebuilt theme, no re-pointing a domain, and nothing to undo if you change your mind about us.

02

An allowance, or a meter

Our price carries a monthly pool of credits that covers replies, product sheets, images and email. Theirs bills AI per use by default, with an optional bundle per sub-account if you would rather cap it.

03

It works on the catalog

Sheets, prices, images and feeds are the machinery of a shop that already sells. That is the part we automate, and it is not what a marketing suite is built around.

Honest take

When GoHighLevel is the better choice

They start cheaper than us and they cover far more surface: funnels, calendars, reputation, courses, memberships, a phone system. If you have no shop yet, or what you actually need is that whole marketing surface in one login, they do it and we do not.

What they do not do is the work inside a catalog that is already selling. That is the only ground we are claiming.

Before you switch

Do I have to leave Shopify?

No, and that is rather the point. We connect to the Shopify you have, and everything we write goes back into it.

Who does the setup?

Our team, through a guided start called Tonic Sprint. It is the standard way brands go live with us and it is bought separately from the subscription: 2,900 euro, published on our onboarding page, and two to four weeks depending on the shop.

Whose data is it?

Yours, and you can export it. Monthly stops when you stop. On annual our pricing page offers 30 days to get your money back; ask us to put the exit terms in writing before you sign, as you should with anyone.

See it on your own catalog

The free audit reads your shop and shows you the work that is sitting there today. No call needed to get it.
